This group focuses on freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke, with butterfly in short efforts. In this group the focus is still very much on skill development with competition skills beginning to be taught.

Swimmers in this group are strongly encouraged to start racing.  This can be done at Dragon Racing and/or the Southside Penrhos Wesley Swimming Club. We believe competitive swimming at a low level is important to the swimmers development at this stage.

SUMMER 2023/2024

Our Summer season runs from 9th October 2023 to 28th March 2024.

Due to families feedback and through consultation with our coaching staff we have decided to review and restructure our Intermediate Squad to swim twice a week with the option to adding an extension 3rd session.

We hope that this will better serve the needs of all our swimmers at this level.

Intermediate squad will be available at the Wesley pool:

Extension 3^rd Session

NB. For those families that have siblings in our lesson program on a different day combination to what is offered above please let us know as we may be able to offer a different 2-day combination for these swimmers only.
