TERM LESSONS - 2008/2009 SEASON

We are a Royal Lifesaving Society Endorsed Swim School. Our stages/certificates are the same as those used by The Royal Lifesaving Society and Education Department Interm programs.

Our philosophy is that children should be strong and confident in passing a stage. We believe our standards are high and in the long run will produce much better results for your child’s swimming.

All our staff are Austswim or Royal Lifesaving accredited. All hold a current police clearance/working with children check and resuscitation qualification.

We cater for children 4 years and up. Our swimming lessons run in 4 blocks over the summer season:

Season:	Term 4
	Monday 13th October 2008 – Friday 19th December 2008

	Vacation Block 1 (Lessons every weekday)
	Monday 5th January 2009 – Friday 16th January 2009

	Vacation Block 2 (Lessons every weekday)
	Monday 19th January 2009 – Friday 30th January 2009
	NB: There will not be lessons on Monday 26th January 2009 (Australia Day Public Holiday) Lessons in lieu of the Monday 26th January public holiday for the Block 2 morning & afternoon sessions will be held on Saturday 24th January 2009. Times for the Saturday session will be forwarded with lesson confirmation.

	Term 1
	Monday 2nd February 2009 – Thursday 9th April 2009
	Lesson in lieu of Friday 10th April Good Friday Public Holiday will be held during Term 1. Dates and times to be advised.
	Lessons will run as normal on the Labour Day public holiday (Monday 2nd March 2009)

Term 4 and Term 1 lessons are held twice a week for 10 weeks (ie 20 lessons per term).

Times:

Stages 1 – 5:	3:45pm	Maximum 5 per class
(All days except Mon/Wed combination)	4:15pm	30 minute lessons

	3:35pm	- (Early Timeslot - Wesley Students only)
	4:05pm
	4:35pm	Maximum 5 per class

Stages 6 – 8:	3:45pm	Maximum 8 per class

	5:15pm (certain days only)

Term 1 2008
Commence Wednesday 17th December 2008 for swimmers currently enrolled in our Term 4 program.

Commence Friday 19th December 2008 for children not currently enrolled in our Term 4 program.

NB: Good Friday falls in Term 1 – make-up lesson times to be confirmed. Lessons run as normal on Labour Day public holiday Monday 2nd March 2009.

Make-up Lessons :
Where ever possible we will give you a make-up lesson if you child has been injured or sick. Unfortunately we do not offer make-up lessons for birthday parties, holidays etc. Please see Lee regarding available days and times for these lessons.

Cost:

WESLEY STUDENTS
20 Lessons	$185.00 – Early Bird Fee $215.00 – Standard Fee
NB: The Early Bird payment can be made before lessons start and within the first week of term. The standard fee applies Monday 20th October 2008

NON-WESLEY STUDENTS (Includes entry fee into the pool)
20 Lessons	$210.00 – Early Bird Fee $240.00 – Standard Fee
NB: The Early Bird fee applies to payments made before lessons start and within the first week of term. The standard fee applies Monday 20th October 2008 onwards.

Non-Wesley Students will receive a pool entry pass when you make payment on the first lesson. They will have to present this to the front desk every lesson. Wesley students will need to present their Sports Club ID to gain free entry to the pool.

** A $20 booking fee will apply to cancellations within 1 week of lessons commencing. **

Payment:

We will have a person collecting lesson fees on your child’s first lesson. Payment can also be made on this day or prior by Direct Credit (details below). The standard fee applies after October 20th 2008.
Payment for Vacation Lessons is required with the application form.
Payment can be made by Cheque or Cash.
